We are delighted to announce two new additions to the Grand Aura Medical Team, Mr Jamie Mitchell BDS. MFDS. RCS(Ed) and Ms Manjit Dhillon BDS (Hons). MFDS RCPSG. MBChB. FRCS OMFS.
Mr Jamie Mitchell
Jamie Mitchell is a Speciality Doctor in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. He has 7 years of postgraduate experience in Oral Surgery. He gained his Bachelors of Dental Surgery with commendations at the University of Dundee in 2008. He is a member of Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and has post graduate qualification in conscious sedation from SAAD (the regulatory body for conscious sedation). Jamie has 5 years experience in facial aesthetics treatments and had carried out advanced training in wrinkle softening treatment, dermal fillers, non-surgical rhinoplasty and Silhouette soft thread lifts. He has also completed training with the European College of Aesthetic Medicine & Surgery (ECAMS) in facial rejuvenation techniques. He is accredited by the Lynton Laser Training in collaboration with the University of Manchester.
Ms Manjit Dhillon
Manjit Dhillon is a Consultant Surgeon in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. She completed Dentistry with distinctions and obtained her Bachelors of Dental Surgery with Honours at the University of Dundee in 2001. She went on to qualify in Medicine with Commendation in 2007 and was awarded the Dyce Davidson Medal in Clinical Medicine as the top medical student in her year. Her higher surgical training experience in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery was obtained between the Oxford and Scottish training programme. She was awarded Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons & Physicians in Glasgow (FRCS OMFS RCPSG) in 2013. Her specialist interests include Head & Neck oncology, salivary gland diseases, facial reconstruction, free tissue transfer, facial deformity correction caused by trauma or surgery and facial / jaw pain. Manjit is an experienced aesthetic clinician offering the full range of non-surgical and surgical facial rejuvenation techniques. She has carried out advanced training in wrinkle softening treatment, dermal fillers, non-surgical rhinoplasty and Silhouette soft thread lifts. She is certified by the European College of Aesthetic Medicine & Surgery (ECAMS) in facial rejuvenation techniques and is accredited by the Lynton Laser Training Clinic in collaboration with the University of Manchester.
