Dr Katie Duncan - Consultant Dermatologist

Dr Duncan (MRCP, DRCOG, SCE Dermatology) is a UK trained NHS Consultant Dermatologist. 

 

After graduating in 2007, Dr Duncan began her initial training in Edinburgh and Fife, successfully completing exams to obtain membership of the Royal College of Physicians. Following this, Dr Duncan trained and qualified as a General Practitioner, and after working for a year as an Edinburgh GP, obtained entry to the national dermatology training program in Aberdeen in 2014.

 

Dr Duncan has worked in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary dermatology department for ten years, passing the Royal College of Physicians Dermatology Specialty Certificate examination in 2023 before completing dermatology training in early 2024. She is registered with the GMC as a Dermatology Consultant. 

 

In her regular NHS practice Dr Duncan manages and cares for patients with skin lesions, skin cancers, and a wide range of general dermatology conditions including eczema, psoriasis and acne. She is committed to providing the highest level of evidence based care for her patients. 

 

Dr Duncan is a member of the British Association of Dermatologists and the Scottish Dermatology Society. As part of her commitment to providing high quality care she attends regular educational events, ensuring her skills are kept up to date and in keeping with latest best practice for her patients.
